GENERAL SUMMARY OFGSAP

The Global Services Associate Program (GSAP) hirescandidates locally and trains them centrally. Our Associates are developedthrough a structured program that combines intensive training and on-the-jobmentored experience. This intensive role based-training includes anintroduction to the storage industry, best practices and methodologies and theEMC way of doing business. For technical associates, training includes hands-onwork with EMC products and platforms, operating systems and storageinfrastructure tools. Associates will also receive the foundation necessary toachieve technical certifications (EMC and Non-EMC). Additionally: Learn toperform installations, preventative and remedial maintenance on EMC equipmentat a wide variety of customer locations and environments. Work with assignedmentor, team members, customers and direct managers to gain full understandingof EMC products and culture. Adhere to administrative policies and escalationprocedures.

The GSAP Associate Delivery Specialist will be providingbillable services to EMC Customers. The extent of these services will includeconfiguring, installing, troubleshooting and supporting EMC products, and theintegration of these products with others.

Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction throughresolution of customer situations, handling product issues, pre-installationsite planning, installations/implementations, and upgrades.
